About Derrywater House
Derrywater House is built in Tudor style and is immensely rich in charm and character, with tudor features throughout including heavy beam structured ceilings, reclaimed brick walls and ingle-nooked fireplaces. Derrywater House is set on four acres of private grounds, two of which are beautifully landscaped with spectacular backdrops of the surrounding countryside. Derrywater House is open all year round and is ideal for a family stay! There is plenty of space to accommodate up to twelve guests, inclusive of a double sofa-bed.
Derrywater House comprises an entrance hall, a large well equipped kitchen, a spacious utility room where you can store the kid's muddy wellies or make use of the washing machine should you need to do some emergency laundry!
A bright and spacious dining room area leads to a cosy sitting room with an open fire, big sofas and armchairs. You can spend a cosy evening here sitting by the fireplace, chatting or just simply watching TV.
The first floor contains the master bedroom with beamed ceiling, beautiful views, built-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom containing a bath, shower, toilet, bidet and hand-basin. There is also a family suite comprising a double room with a free-standing Victorian bath, adjoining a twin room. Next door to this suite is a bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet. There are also two more double bedrooms sharing a warm, elegant bathroom with shower, hand-basin and toilet.
Derrywater House is also superbly placed if you are attending a wedding at nearby Ballybeg House: www.ballybeg.ie
